Service Role

Rodavia acts as intermediary. The rental agreement forms directly between you and the supplier named in your voucher. That supplier controls vehicle condition, insurance terms, pickup procedures, and roadside support. We pass your contact details and preferences to the company; they prepare the contract.

The voucher you receive contains supplier contact information, pickup instructions, and booking reference. Print or save it to your device.

Supplier Responsibilities

The rental company listed in your voucher provides the vehicle, arranges insurance coverage, sets deposit requirements at their desk, and handles any damage claims or traffic fines. Each supplier operates under Cretan and Greek law governing vehicle rental businesses.

If the vehicle develops mechanical trouble or you need assistance during the rental period, contact the supplier directly using the phone number on your voucher. Response times and replacement procedures vary by company.

Liability Limits

Rodavia holds no liability for vehicle defects, accidents, insurance disputes, billing disagreements, or service quality issues. Those matters rest with the rental supplier. We do not inspect vehicles, verify insurance policies, or audit supplier business practices.

Road conditions in Crete include narrow mountain passes, unmarked rural junctions, and livestock. Drive according to local speed limits and weather. The rental company's insurance terms govern accident coverage.

Bookings and Changes

When you submit a booking request through the website, we forward it to the selected supplier. Confirmation depends on vehicle availability at that company. Cancellation and modification policies appear in your voucher and vary by supplier.

Advance payment, when collected, follows the method described on the payment methods page. Refund eligibility depends on the supplier's cancellation terms and how far in advance you cancel.

Website Use

Provide accurate contact details and travel dates when making a booking request. Do not use automated tools to scrape data or submit false reservations. We reserve the right to refuse service or block access for misuse.
